Penta 720 and DAD AX32 I/O and DSP Cards

Both the Penta 720 and the DAD AX32 mainframe can accept the same option cards and modules allowing each system to meet specific requirements. Each frame can accept up to 8 option cards in any combination.

Analog Input

Two card types (Cards are physically identical). LINE card can be upgraded to MIC/LINE by license.

  • Enables connection between unsynchronised
  • Dante/AES67 networks
  • Enables connection between networks with different sample rates
  • Support for Dante Domain Manager
  • Support for AES67 with SAP
  • Network delay setting up to 21 msec.

SPQ Card serves different functions for Penta 720 and DAD AX32, based on different software:
Penta 720 Audio Delay Processor

  • Programmable delay for up to 128 ch.
  • Individual delay pr. channel
  • 128 ‘channel-seconds of delay’
  • 128 ch. can be delayed up to 1 sec.
  • 1 ch. Can be delayed up to 128 sec.
  • Or any combination in-between
  • Delay can be set in steps of 1 sample
  • Suitable to achieve lipsync
